Description

The Light of the Messiah over Jerusalem abstract painting is available as a reproduction on canvas and metal in 2 options: limited and open edition.

– Limited edition on canvas comes hand embellished, framed, numbered and signed by Alex Levin. This edition is limited to only 25 signed prints that ever will be published. This makes it more unique and collectable. Once that specific print run sells out, there will be no other editions of that image made by the artist.
– Open edition available on canvas or metal. Canvas comes fully framed and has a traditional, classic look. Metal edition made from high-quality aluminum. It has a modern and contemporary look. Reflects light and enhances the colors in the artwork.

Both the limited and open editions are ready-to-hang wall art. The canvas reproduction arrives beautifully stretched and elegantly framed to add a touch of sophistication to your space, ready for hanging on your wall.
Each reproduction is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring that you receive an original and authentic piece of art.

In this painting I depict the Western Wall – Kotel, the sacred site where Jews have gathered to pray for centuries. In the foreground, you see figures draped in prayer shawls, standing solemnly at the Wall, deeply immersed in their prayers and hopes. Their connection to the heavens seems tangible, as if their prayers are woven into the very air around them.
Above the Wall stretches a dark, deep blue sky, yet within its darkness, a light begins to emerge. This light emanates from the Western Wall itself, a response to the centuries of prayers and longings. It is not a blinding light but one filled with warmth and inner strength, symbolizing hope for better times and the long-awaited redemption.
The Messiah does not appear in the painting. There is only the light, which fills the scene with a sense of anticipation and faith that his arrival is near, though not yet realized. The light suggests that the prayers have been heard and that hope remains alive.
