Original Paintings – Venetian Fantasy

The Venetian Fantasy series immerses viewers in Venice’s masked carnival. Levin’s biography explains that his “Venice through the mask’s eyes” series presents the most prominent feature of the Venetian carnival—the mask—and that his work in this collection earned him a scholarship to the Venice Academy of Art. Paintings with titles such as “Week before the Carnival,” “Venice nightlife in Caffe Florian,” “Venetian Zephyr,” “Venetian Mystery,” and “The Magical World of Fairies” capture the romance, mystery and elegance of Venice.

All works are by Alex Levin, who is known for blending realism and surrealism. He developed this collection after receiving a scholarship to the Venice Academy of Art.
