Description

Destruction of the Jerusalem Temple Judaica painting is available as a reproduction on canvas and metal in 2 options: limited and open edition.

– Limited edition on canvas comes hand embellished, framed, numbered and signed by Alex Levin. This edition is limited to only 25 signed prints that ever will be published. This makes it more unique and collectable. Once that specific print run sells out, there will be no other editions of that image made by the artist.
– Open edition available on canvas or metal. Canvas comes fully framed and has a traditional, classic look. Metal edition made from high-quality aluminum. It has a modern and contemporary look. Reflects light and enhances the colors in the artwork.

Both the limited and open editions are ready-to-hang wall art. The canvas reproduction arrives beautifully stretched and elegantly framed to add a touch of sophistication to your space, ready for hanging on your wall.
Each reproduction is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, ensuring that you receive an original and authentic piece of art.

With each stroke of my brush, ancient Jerusalem comes to life as if my hands merge with the soul of those times. Through every color and shade, I strive to convey not only the external appearance but also the emotions that permeated those who endured that dark period. Before me, I see countless faces – the faces of inhabitants who lost their homes and sanctuaries, the faces of Roman soldiers bringing destruction, and the faces of those who resisted despite all fears and dangers. Each of them plays a crucial role in creating this painting because it’s not just a canvas; it’s a mosaic of their destinies and events. The longer I work on this painting, the deeper I immerse myself in their history. It’s my journey through time, my attempt to experience their struggle and suffering. Every tiny detail on my canvas is like a puzzle piece that I try to fit together to create a comprehensive and accurate depiction of that era. I’m not just drawing pictures; I’m trying to breathe life into history so that it remains with us forever. My painting Jerusalem becomes a window to the past, through which we can glimpse moments of glory and suffering in ancient Jerusalem. And I hope it will remind us of the strength of the human spirit and the significance of our history, which should never be forgotten.
