I created this painting while thinking about Jerusalem as the heart of the world. I felt the light rising above the city and uniting heaven and earth. In this radiance I see hope and the prayer of those who stand below and look upward. For me it is a moment of silence when the soul hears the voice of Jerusalem and reaches for the light.
