Before me, I see countless faces – the faces of inhabitants who lost their homes and sanctuaries, the faces of Roman soldiers bringing destruction, and the faces of those who resisted despite all fears and dangers. Each of them plays a crucial role in creating this painting because it’s not just a canvas; it’s a mosaic of their destinies and events. The longer I work on this painting, the deeper I immerse myself in their history. It’s my journey through time, my attempt to experience their struggle and suffering.
