Contact me about This Painting
This Jewish painting captures Jewish life in Williamsburg. Williamsburg is a part of New York with a significant Jewish population. As such it supports large synagogues like the one you see in this picture. The New York winter is painted in shades of gray, peach, and blue. The snow on the ground looks cold and crunchy, and the icicles on the building simply ice cold. And while the weather outside is cold, the hearts of the men are warmed with Torah. It’s inspiring to see that even in cold weather talk of the Torah on Shabbat cannot be stopped.
