Contact me about This Painting
This is a Jewish painting that tells a historic story in a beautiful piece of Jewish art. The painting “Last Hours of Brave Zealots on Masada” portrays the last stand of the Jewish people on Masada. Chased by fire and Romans, the people of Masada stand tall in their last hours. Masada was an ancient fort built by Herod the Great on top of a mesa near the Dead Sea in the Judean Desert. In the year 73 at the end of the Jewish Roman war, 960 Sicarii Jewish “rebels” committed suicide rather than be captured. This story remains an inspiration to the Jewish people and beyond. Discover Masada in a whole new light with this exciting painting.
