Contact me about this Painting
To me, it feels like a window into eternity, a glimpse into the holiness and history that cannot be fully comprehended but endlessly invites connection. The three arches symbolize the three dimensions of time – past, present, and future. Through them unfolds a majestic view of Jerusalem, bathed in light and gold.
The painting depicts Jerusalem – not just a city but the heart and soul of the Jewish people. Ancient homes, built from warm, golden stone, glow with an invisible spiritual light. Their golden hues symbolize a connection to the divine, where every stone carries the prayers, hopes, and sorrows of millions who have walked this sacred ground.
At the base of the composition lies the Western Wall, a place where countless believers have come for centuries to pour out their most heartfelt prayers. The tiny figures of people seem to dissolve into the radiant glow, a reminder that every prayer becomes part of this vast, ongoing story.
I sought to convey not only the architectural beauty of Jerusalem but its profound spiritual essence. The arches are gateways to holiness, to eternity. They are an invitation to enter, to touch the mystery, and to feel the breath of time, which here seems both still and alive.
This painting is, for me, a hymn to Jerusalem, a city that unites worlds and souls.
