I painted this scene from my memories of serving in the Golan Heights in Israel. These slopes, the clear air and the eucalyptus trees were with me every day in the tank corps. For me, eucalyptus trees became a part of Israel and a part of my own memories. They bring me back to those years, to the quiet of the mountains and to the feeling of strength and nature that I will never forget.
