For me, eucalyptus trees are the breath of Israel, its scent and its light. They grow everywhere here along the roads, in the mountains, near springs, across the fields and they accompany us throughout life. I feel that they have become a part of my inner world and an inseparable element of the Israeli landscape. Through their trunks and hanging branches, the view of the Promised Land opens, and every time I feel a quiet miracle. This painting begins a new series dedicated to eucalyptus trees as a symbol of Israel and a symbol of my love for this land.
