This piece portrays the Lubavitcher Rebbe in his younger years, around 45-50 years old. His beard is still modest, and his deep blue eyes radiate wisdom and strength. In this work, I once again utilized vibrant and abstract colors to convey the inner light and energy that emanated from the Rebbe. As you know, my style strives to move beyond traditional depictions. I use rich hues and abstract forms to express what words cannot ? the spiritual depth and life force that were part of the Rebbe’s essence. For me, these are not just portraits, but visual stories that reveal the inner world and spiritual power of the Rebbe.
Creating such paintings is important because they allow us to see the Rebbe from a new perspective ? not only as a historical figure but as a source of light that continues to inspire. Through these abstract and colorful images, I aim to convey the strength he carried within himself and shared with others. In the process of creating this painting, I paid special attention to how color communicates emotions. I carefully selected each shade to express not only his appearance but also the inner glow that made him so unique.
